We'd like to encourage all Haslemere station users to complete the Haslemere Station Snapshot Customer Travel Survey, you can complete this short survey online using this LINK
DETAILS ABOUT THE SURVEY
One of the major concerns that has been raised in all our community consultation has been traffic, parking and access, particularly in, around and to and
from Haslemere Station.
To come to grips with the complex issues involved and to produce practical, workable solutions that will improve the situation Surrey County Council, Haslemere Vision and South West Trains are working together to deliver a Travel Plan for Haslemere Station.
The aim is to improve the access, safety and sustainability of all forms of travel to and from the station, to support the strategic objectives of the rail industry and to mitigate local transport problems. Consultants Royal Haskoning DHV and Harris Ethical who have wide experience of similar projects, both in the UK and in Europe, have been commissioned to help to deliver the plan.
We need to understand better how station users and different groups of the general public get to and from the station, how they use rail services and how they travel in and around Haslemere. To this end, Royal Haskoning DHV and Harris Ethical will conduct surveys, both at the station and elsewhere in Haslemere.
